In Pursuit of Innovation Project Brought Young People Together Around Innovative Ideas

The “In Pursuit of Innovation” youth exchange project, held in Córdoba, Spain, between 1–8 October 2025, brought together young people from different countries to explore entrepreneurship, intercultural learning, and sustainability. Coordinated by Asociación ROTA under the Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges (KA152-YOU) programme, the project welcomed participants from Spain, Türkiye, Poland, Georgia, and Hungary.

The project aimed to support the social, cultural, and personal development of young people while strengthening entrepreneurial skills and fostering international cooperation. Through a week of workshops, group activities, and intercultural learning experiences, participants gained valuable knowledge and built meaningful connections with their peers from across Europe.

The programme included entrepreneurship and creativity-focused workshops, business model development sessions, cultural exchange activities, networking opportunities, and sustainability-themed trainings. Participants not only expanded their understanding of entrepreneurship but also enhanced essential competences such as communication, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving.

One of the project's most significant achievements was encouraging participants to better understand different cultures, helping to reduce stereotypes and promote appreciation for cultural diversity. Through intercultural dialogue, young people strengthened mutual respect, tolerance, and solidarity while gaining valuable experience in international cooperation and active citizenship.

The project also placed a strong emphasis on sustainability and environmental awareness. Through dedicated workshops and discussions, participants developed a deeper understanding of environmental challenges and explored ways to promote sustainable practices within their local communities.

Particular attention was given to the inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities, ensuring equal participation and accessibility throughout the project. This inclusive approach enabled participants from diverse social and economic backgrounds to engage in an international learning environment and contribute their perspectives.

Overall, In Pursuit of Innovation provided a valuable learning experience that empowered young people to think creatively, develop entrepreneurial mindsets, and strengthen intercultural understanding. The knowledge, skills, and experiences gained during the project are expected to inspire participants to take initiative and create positive change within their communities long after the project has ended.
